Does GTI use only certain truck stops for fuel?

Well I start on Feb 17th.....orientation is in modesto,ca. I'm counting the days till I am there. There's a bunch of people that got turned down by GTI in my class so I feel very fortunate to have a chance to drive for them...

Hey everyone, thanks for the great thread. I've been accepted by Gordon and am supposed to get a call from a recruiter later this week. They need to find a trainer in my area I guess.

My question is, can I drive all 48 states with Gordon? It looks like they are mainly regionalized. I don't care about hometime (no family / kids, etc.), so I'm willing to stay out if they will allow me to travel a bit.

Also, not a deal breaker, but what's their pet policy? Just curious.

Thanks again for all the great info thus far!

If you go to the Gordon Trucking web site they have a FAQ section for drivers that will answer the questions you have asked.

i've been gone from gti for almost 4 years so my info may be a little out of date. BUT, when i left, they were expanding into the midwest and beyond, not sure about all 48 though, i know they run canada too.

and their pet policy was: no pets in company trucks. period.

and i didn't leave because they sucked, i just found a better job. i did 5 years with them and did well while i was there. good luck!

Thanks tinglish! They sound like a really great company, I just wish they weren't so regionalized. I really want to travel to as many places as possible. I'm also looking at May, FFE, and Stevens. This is a tough choice!

Hey there everyone. I figured I would put in a few words about GTI. I've been out with a trainer for 3 weeks now and I could not be happier with this co....We have been staying in the s/west area and my trainer gets back home to phoenix just about every weekend. Although it's been a little slow, we seem to keep rolling. I have no complaints at all...great co to work for....
