They must be doing something right. GTI's Safestat score is almost obscene.

Well my hubby left CR England and about 3 weeks later started with GTI. He has been there for about 3 weeks now and loves it so far. All the people he deals with are cool and not rude like at CR England. He is actually making money. Sometimes the loads are tight on time but if he is going to be late he lets his Dispatch Manager know and they figure out a later drop or whatever they need to do. So far all is good. He gets 2 days of home time and out for 2 weeks. They really work hard to get him home on his days requested. KNOCKING ON WOOD it stays this way.

I am glad that your husband seems to like Gordon. I start orientation next week at Turlock, CA. I looked at all the companies that will hire you out of school and Gordon seems to have the best reputation out there, considering my choices were Stevens, Werner and U.S. Express. If any Gordon drivers have any advice or information, let me know! Thanks!:biggrin_2559:

The western state drivers get 2500-2700 a week at least I did until I moved to pheonix area fleet which ran az ca nv or then I was getting 2200-2400 no problem. But you have to run with your hair on fire.....

The orientation is cool, they put you up at a pretty nice hotel, road test is easy 10 speed fltliner columbia, physical i went to in my home town, strength test is lifting a dolly for a doubles hook up to the pintle hook of a trailer the safe way with your back (they show you how) days are 7-5 I believe. Its a good company, if you like being out 2 weeks at a time run the temperature controlled fleet its good miles. Just western states mostly wa or ca some az. hopefully you get Loren as your DM he is hella cool. Always gets you home for hometime.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds good except for that dolly thing. They look pretty heavy. :biggrin_25521:
