Be careful going after companies that have super nice (expensive) equipment. They tend pay less cpm. Someone has to pay that big truck payment, it's usually you!

That's a nice lookin truck, with lots of potential! -
Whatever...You make me laugh!! If I remember right I just asked a simple question, really simple. It was all of that took that question to new, amazing places, it was never intended to go.
As for baiting, you're giving me credit for being smarter, and way more calculating than I ever want to be. Kinda feels as though I'm the one being baited!
On the ride I can't agree with you. Empty they all pretty much pound on ya, loaded, yep it's better but no where near the ride of a car(I don't know maybe I drive better cars than ya all....Not tryin to open another can of worms here though!!!). I've never hauled or wanted to haul gas so what's 5000 gal. like 40,000 some pounds on the truck? Yep that ought to smooth it out about as smooth as it's gonna get. But can't be any where near a car ride. Sorry just can't agree there.
On your "where ya need to look" statement, yeah ok whatever.
As for what you guys run and what resales better and all that...OK ummmm I guess I'm glad that all works for YOU.
Well I guess then, thanks for your honest opinion. But I guess I will nibble on your bait here a little. You can read anything I have or will post, I don't normally bash anyones favorite flavor of ride or whatever. I did raz on yer KW's a little back there a ways, but I thought we were all havin fun there. I don't really like arguing, but every once in awhile ya feel like ya gotta stand up to some of the BS that goes on. There is plenty of BS going on here too......But what do ya expect, a bunch of drivers, and dreamers.
I mean the question originally was like what companies have Peterbilt only fleets or something close to that. The answers I was expecting would have been something like....."Hey, TMC runs a bunch of black ones" or something along those lines. But look where it went. You all scolded about where people should work, what you should drive, how they ride, and blah...blah blah.
Man how did that simple question get us here?? I'm scratchin my head??? But it's all cool, just please don't accuse me of things I'm not guilty of!! I've never been real good with that
And to one and all of ya in case I don't make it back here real soon .......
PLEASE have a HAPPY, and especially SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON!!!!!C--YAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa -
After reading almost 4 pages of this stuff. All I get out of it is the poster is looking for a truck that "Pecker Built" LOL....
Mooch Thanks this. -
Western Dist. Trans. Corp. out of Colorado has extremely nice equipment, the trucks they decide to sell always end up in the truckpaper, and on there website. They only run long nose petes and KW's.
Sorry but, I will gladly take a few cents a mile less, to drive a show truck up and down the road, that I do not have to pay for when the turbo goes belly up. I have a sense of pride, I will not go down the road in a Freightliner, or a Volvo, no thanks!
These are trucks...not minivans, you take away long square hoods, stacks, air cleaners, exposed fuel tanks, shiny chrome, you take away the backbone.
ANYWHO....the company I mentioned sells all there stuff after 3 years, on there website is a for sale link, 39 trucks for sale right now I believe.

When you work for a company you have no say, how fast your truck will go.. Ours use to go 72, then they were cut to 60.. It doesn't matter what you drive, so long as you take good care of it.. If Freightliner, Volvo were so bad, then they would not even be made..Everyone has their likes in trucks, just like those who like different computer made from different makers... -
I just changed all 6 shocks for my 379 exhd pete but the ride is as stiff as if am riding on springs with no air bags. I used all monroe shocks 65101 for steers and 65468 for the drives. Does anyone know how to get a better ride out of this truck. I'm feeling all the little bumps on the the road. Please help.
