I can empathize with the driver who is upset with Werner.
My wife and I were team driving for them. We did the costomerary month training plus. We put up with some terrible trainers but eventually finished and were issued a beat up old freightliner. I took pictures of the damage to the tractor. I would think they would be more inclined to put decent equipment out in the public eye. I have the pictures if anyone wants to see them. The main reason I am responding to this drivers thread is the mileage problem. We were forced onto the "van expedited". We never asked to be on it. Our first couple weeks on the road we did outrageous miles but when we got home and saw our check we realized there was a problem. We thought we would wait for the next check to see if the problem was rectified. It was not. We contacted payroll and they informed us we were getting 14 cents a mile. Get this!!!!! 8cents a mile loaded and 6 cents a mile empty. Can you believe they would expect a professional driver to work for that? Soon after that we left by returning our truck to the center in PA.
AT THIS POINT THEY OWE US A FORTUNE WHICH WE WILL NEVER SEE.
DO NOT DRIVE FOR THIS COMPANY!!!!!! If you need more info contact me and I will be happy to tell you how bad this company is.

We left Werner and went with CRST and they treated us well. Unfortunately because of home problems we had to leave and until we sell our house we can't go back. Try them, you'll like them and good equipment. -
REALLY??? CRST-Is now, truly,The Gold Rush company?
