- my Peterbilt was $117,000, was paid for in 19 months and its going to last at least another 5 years making money no matter what economy is. Because it is paid for

- Scania build in the such a way would cost about $300,000 in Europe but according to Scania man I would have to replace it really soon because thats how it is in Europe - truck don't matter - its all about fuel. Because you make so much money as a O/O - that you can't even afford fuel - so, obviously - you need new trucks all the time because of the incredible fuel savings new models offer.

I'm really getting tired of your dumb horsesh*it you are pulling here - no wonder your government treats you like bunch of idiots. I bet they working on a new tax for you because they know your brain capacity is not much

Hold on , that's not what I said! Let me put it so even a NUMPTY like you can understand :, to start with this truck I have now, I had a good trade in so that reduced the price significantally , to cut a long story short my monthly payments are just €1260 pm that includes 2+2 warranty and contract maintenance so the truck can never cost me one penny more no matter what happens it, now let's say I kept my old 144 530 from 2001, true it would be paid for but the fuel savings I have now would amount to an average of €1000 pm and on top of that I would have to maintain and service it and I would have no tax deductions for my payments so it's far cheaper for me to be driving around in a modern powerful comfortable safer truck so why would I keep an old dinosaur ? I know not everybody is my position to start with but most will progress to a new truck after their first or second second-hand truck, so I didn't say you HAVE to change it it's more cost effective if you do, just you're too stupid to do Simple mathematics ,

 

And another thing, due to the terms of my warranty and maintenance contract if my vehicle breaks down and it's gonna be off the road for 24 hrs or more scania will provide me with a replacement truck free of charge so l literally have no downtime , so tell me again mr produce hauler why I'm so stupid not to have an old truck again? It's also strange how your times offline coincide with school times! Maybe when you finish school you can be a truck driver like daddy cos one things for sure : you ain't no o/o

 

what a reason in EU to have a new truck..... answer is simple - emission level. many toll dutes are lower for Euro-5 comparing with E2-E3.

we all know well, that Scania PDI engine is much more reliable new HPI engines.

We all know, that pre EGR series 60 is better newer engines, we all know that DEF, SCR, ACERT, EGR are weak things of any engine.

So IMO pre EGR, Euro-2/3, EPA 2000 engines are the best, good combination of fuel economy and reliability

 

Average scania v8 with an auto box, sat nav, leather seats, wood trim, front air suspension, automatic downhill speed control with retarder, topline cab = 147,000 us dollars, where did the 300,000 figure come from? Just like everything you come up with , pure uneducated bull**** ! And by the way, the Average iq over here is actaully higher than than that in the US , so let's recap, first of all you drove a 379, an o/o for 6 yrs, then it was a 579 and then only an o/o for 5 yrs, a business u started with 500 dollars and no credit line, yet with 500 u bought a truck, put fuel in it and ran it until your first paycheck? Then u say u paid for it in 19 months and you bought your own island! Please! I'm sorry but you are the only dumb c*nt here if you expect anyone can take u seriously
