MPG scams have a modus operandi, described in the article below from the FTC. ECO Fuelsystems Fuel Enhancer falls in the category of "Fuel Line Devices (metallic)", which the FTC has tested under controlled conditions, and proven not to work.

So as I have seen it, 8 posts and all about discrediting something you know nothing about. Didn't get into all the other thread but more of the same.

I'm starting to agree with Ben on this. What is your angle? Because you are not an unhappy customer, not a driver. So what? You just like to troll around causing issues.

You want a controlled test. Great. Go fund it.

REAL O/O's want independent test from O/O's in real world conditions.

We have all seen, and some of us have been burned by, products that have the tests you want on products that do not work in the real world.

You are trying real hard to discredit me and the ECO-System my freind but the FTC has not tested our product at all. You still have not said who you work for???
I also have stated that we have been investigated by the Texas Attorney Generals office and was found to be advertising less than we delivered.
We recieved a grant from the State of Texas 4 years ago because the committee that scrutinized the applicants ( who were automotive engineer professors from 5 different universities) found MERIT in our product.
If your BS were true we would not have received this grant.
I also have a copy of the Homeland Security General Counsul's investigation done on our company, since we are working with saving them fuel, And his 6month investigative report stated that he did not know why the rest of the government was not using this product.
So why don't you quit whinning and admit who you work for or represent?
We have Thousands of School Districts and County and City Police departments using this product and have been for over 6 years now. They would not have aloud us to sell to them if your statements were true.
NASA at Whitesands Test Facility would have not tested and continued to buy if that were true also.
We did not just show up yesterday with a magical device blowing smoke.
Get over it, we are the Real Deal!
And these professionals test results are ticking you off!!!

Actually I believe your helping to Prove that ECO-Systems is not on any of the EPA lists or FTC.
We are also Listed with The Better Business Bureau and cary an A+ rating for two years in a row. They support no scams.

I would like to offer just a few words to this thread if I may.

I am currently testing an ECO-5 unit. I was provided this unit by ECOTAZ free of charge. He paid shipping. Not only did he pay shipping but he paid TWICE to ship new fuel hoses/connections after I discovered that my truck had come from the factory with apparently larger supply fuel lines than some other trucks. He paid a lot of postage for shipping. To me, he paid way too much for postage but he did what he said he would do and he did it expeditiously. He went so far out of his way to provide me with everything I could possibly need just to install and test the unit that I felt bad about the last set of lines being yet again one size too small so I went locally to my Parker store and had custom lines made up for a custom install. ECOTAZ doesn't know me from Adam nor do I know him. But throughout all communications with him, I can only briefly judge him by what we have discussed and what he has told me he would do. A man's word...you know how it goes. Ben...anyone can attack without ever testing or trying your product. That's easy enough on an internet forum. But Dad used to always tell me that the tree with the best apples always had the most bark skinned off it. Best you can do is hope the attacks continue because they are bringing your product to light.

As for the product, I am still testing. I want to put miles behind me and run gallons through it. I have refrained from posting any results because I want to have the benefit of concrete behind me when I do post. I really don't like being called an idiot because I am testing a new product. In the next sentence the acronym used "ROTFLMAO" pretty much tells me what kind of person is doing the accusing and bloviating. There is no purpose behind such a post other than to attack. And as for the statement made that "you've been had!"...yeah, I've been had. I'm out a few 20 step walks to the mailbox to retrieve the product and another few minutes to install it. Simple as anything you can possibly do on my particular application. I needed the exercise anyway. Thanks, Ben.

All I will say right now, after an initial trip over and back (regular run from home to east and back to home, one a week totaling approximately 1550 miles per week), I-70 and PA Turnpike eastbound and return via I-81, I-70, I-68, I-79 and I-64 westbound...is that there appears to be a smoother response to the throttle and it has widened my "sweet spot" on this Cummins by a tad. Sweet spot being that operating rpm range where all components are seemingly purring in unison rather than working to get to that desired range at other rpm's, etc. Cummins uses the "sweet spot" wordage as a technical term when advising on spec'ing a truck engine, transmission, driveline, tire size, etc. I imagine someone might call this an emotional term because an idiot driver is involved but I view it as where man and machine merge. You can closed condition test all you like and when you get done, it will take an idiot driver to work that machine to milk the potential. Call it emotions, call it science. I don't care what you call it...just call me at the bank on payday deposit day.

After all is said...I will announce that I am still a skeptic, but I am an honest skeptic. I will calculate and re-calculate and I keep records that no science can disprove. Facts are facts. Mileages are accurate, odometer is accurate. Weights are monitored as well as taking various snapshots of my engine/driveline monitoring sensors along the way with road temps and type of weather traveled in. Even with this, it is not a "closed test" according to the self-acclaimed scientists. In light of this, I do not care about your closed testing results. What matters to me is what I know after almost 40 years in the trucking biz in the niche I work in doing the same thing day in, day out. If it works for me, I will post it. If it does not, I will post that also. And I won't be swayed by anyone, ECOTAZ included.

ECOTAZ, if your unit works to increase fuel mileage or if it doesn't...you are a stand-up guy to me and in this day and age of so much to be leary of, that is a big positive. But this discussion is about your product and the OP asked..."Does it work?" Seat of the pants has my smile-o-meter up in the green range & that's about as scientific as I can be for now. I'll contribute more as I can with numbers.

This is just some extra info that is fact for the testers and those interested.
On one rig Driving 2500 miles a week getting 6.49 mpg using 385 gallons and cost of diesel at $3.79 a gallon with a 6% savings using the ECO-System you will increase from 6.49 to 6.88 mpg. You will save $87.54 a week on fuel or $350.19 a month. The ROI on your Investment of $375.00 is 4.3 weeks.
    Annual savings of $4,202.35

Now this is the extra benefit - A 6% reduction in diesel consumption on your rig will reduce Carbon Emissions by 12.1 metric tons a year. This is Hydrocarbons, Carbon Monoxide, and Particulate. This is not our equations, nor the testers, it is the EPA's scientific results of reduced fuel consumption.

So the next time your driving thru cities, schools, or anywhere you can Feel Great that you are doing your part to reduce Air Pollution.
While your doing this you are also Paying yourself by getting more miles per gallon!
    Just common Sense!

I have a couple questions for the testers, just wondering if you are seeing any changes in boost, EGT, water temp, etc.

Haven't noticed a difference in water temp and boost seems to drop off quicker. No pyro gauge.

I would like to ask the testers and the others that have purchased units already, if they can give us an average weekly or monthly figure of how much money they are saving on fuel in their Pockets? I am getting several messages and calls from lots of you as to how excited you are about the performance and so forth but the members want to hear it from you the O/O's.
