When I put the block in place, I gained about .5 mpg average. I average about 7 mpg year round. Less in winter, more in summer.

I just unplugged mine almost two years ago. No issues except the CEL, but IIRC, this could be damaging the turbo. Would like to find out more about this blocking plate Cowpie1 is using. I've got stock intake and all that other stuff on my '04 ISX 475.

I was wondering how long it would take Nervous Nancy to find this thread. Go preach to the drivers waiting on they're trucks to be serviced, no one here is interested in your sermon.

Here is what's inside the DPF........

Here's what it looks like when you get tired of dealing with the poor performance and reliability and you "fix" it with a hammer and a laptop!

Cowpie what material did you use for your block? A piece of stainless?

I also am curious exactly how you did it. Only took you an hour?

I'm not a fan of emissions either. I am just as sick of fixing the cr@p as you guys are being down waiting and paying for repairs!!! BUT, just because you don't like it and YOU feel it is worthless doesn't give you the right to eliminate it or exclude you from regulations! YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW! I really don't give a rat's ##### what you thick! I have nothing to be "nervous" about. Do what you want, I don't have one red cent invested! One day you WILL get a knock at the door by a man with a badge saying, "Pay up Sucker"!

Oh well since you put it that way I'm headed out to bolt the converters back on a few trucks RIGHT NOW and get those ECM's flashed back to stock. Golly gee, I didn't see the black helicopters until you pointed it them out. I probably have a few copied movies laying around and I'm sure I probably didn't pay for ALL of the music on my computer I'm surely going to prison for that.:biggrin_25525:

Oh I was doing 30mph over the limit today, thank you Nancy for preaching the law to me. I'll correct my hurtful ways.

Seriously HeavyD, when your typing these posts that would make Mother Theresa jealous, do you actually think your telling anyone anything that they don't already know? :biggrin_2559::biggrin_25526:
