I wasn't so sure myself when I went through a weigh-in-motion in Louisiana. PrePass gave me the green. The WIM sign said truck must enter scale. I figured the best thing to do is enter the scale. I'm legal all around so it would only cost me about 1-2 minutes in time, tops.

Follow pre-pass unless if scale is closed and you get a red light on the pre- pass. IF YOU GET A RED LIGHT ENTER SCALE EVEN IF ITS CLOSED!!!!!!

have fun with that

They say follow prepass on the sign? so why the #### would you run a scale that post that??? even if the scale is closed???? They dont want a buttload of trucks in the scale so they go after a select few. Trust me man they do this but not that often with prepass. ive herd horror stories. -

ya you've heard "stories" alright. Did i tell you that i have a 747 on my flat right now?
Thats such a load of crap, if the scale says CLOSED stay the F away from it, screw the prepass.
