IWX, has terminals in Edinburgh,IN - Springfield, MO - Kingman, AZ - Dalla, TX -

Loys of miles, pay is good .41 cpm + Benefits. They get you home, Run legal, Make Good Money, Good people to work for. Never caught them lieing to me, or treating drivers badly.

But, OTR produce is what it is, The only reason I left was for a job that would have me off on weekends, and home several nights per week.

Do they force their drivers to unload trucks or hire the lumpers? Also, do they hire out of the northern Alabama area?

It was my experience for them to encourage the drivers to use the lumper services. They want you in shape to drive the truck. I personally liked to unload and load, its exra money and exercise that I need anyway. But IWX never encouraged me to load or unload.

I could pocket and extra 125 to 200 dollars for a couple hours work. You dont make better money driving. But like any other company you could not tell tham your loading or unloading, they cut the money back because they dont want you doing the work or taking a chance on getting hurt.

    Everett Thanks this.

Powder joints how did you pay yourself if you did not tell them you had unloaded? Do they issue you checks to pay lumpers? Just curious.:biggrin_2558:

You give them a price for unloading, they issue you a comcheck, in return you give them a reciept with the information required. I wont explain it past there. But they were happy, and so was I. I will tell you that companies will not pay the driver even half as much as they will pay if they think its a lumper.

You have to check with them on the hiring policies, what I recall is that If they do hire a less experienced driver they put you with another driver and have you run yard to yard, to get your experience level up. Call them they dont bite much
