Typical company. It's liked you're ###### if you do and ###### if you don't Where is the common since with these companies.Anyway next time you go home and it's cold out, make sure you plug that trk in otherwise you're going to have dead batteries everytime. You already know the company won't help you. They could care less just go pick up that load is all they care about. Why did you only take 2 days off?You had more hometime then that coming to you.Stop kissing their ###.Quit staying out so long unless that's what you wanna do.I'm going to tell you right now, you're not going to find many companies that actually are compassionate and care about the drivers.Knight is just one of many that operate the same exact way so keep that in mind. The longer you drive the more you'll know the games they try to play on the drivers.

Overall Knight is not a bad company to work for. I had issues with the no Idling bull crap too but that was when i had the Volvo with 3 batteries only. Now they gave me a 2012 prostar and the bunk heater works great. I actually run it all night and so far have not had any startup problems yet. The amazing thing about me getting a prostar is that i am out of the Carlisle terminal and the terminal manager does not want the prostars and is only getting the Volvos. This prostar only had 129,000 miles on it so to me it is just broken in. Going from the 670 to the prostar is like going from a mini-cooper to an Escalade. Yes i know in the summertime my Idle will get back up there. My dispatcher is getting me plenty of miles so i can not complain about that. Every week it is between 2700-3200 miles so this is working out for me. Since they have switched over to bluecross/blueshield my wife is happy with that. The co-pay for her and the kids are lower then before and they cover more too. Yeah there are better and there are worse companies out there. Some of these drivers make it worse on themselves too. Turning loads down, being late to shippers and receivers, constantly ######## in the drivers lounge and overall not doing the job right the first time. We are suppose to be professionals, are we not? We did know what we were getting into? Heck i did alot of research and question asking before i joined knight. Could of went with a few other companies but knight seemed like a good starting point. Eventually i will leave knight but when i do leave knight i will give them a chance to match what the other companies are offering. Biggest gripe i have is no APU and inverter. If only they would install them then knight would have a better chance in keeping drivers.

Dream on,lol.Knight will not match what other companies are offering.Keep in mind just because you pu and deliver ontime ,never refuse loads, you are just another driver. If you was to quit this company, you won't even get as much as a good bye.Chances are they'll probably make your last days there hell. But glad so far you're happy with them.

Sorry Guys... I worked for Knight Transportation for 2 years. I got 1 ticket (first in 13 years) and was fired.. NOT before they had me run a couple loads that "had to be covered" first. AND YES.. my DM was nice enough to let me know B-4 I got back to the home terminal that I was going to fired upon my return.

Well #### that sucks! Glad I changed my mind about Knight. I know this may sound naive of me but I pray that I find a company that will appreciate me.....

Knight is no better and no worst then the other starter companies. For some knight is great, for others they stink. Then again a lot of those upset drivers brought on thenselves, others did not. But with only one side of any post, the poster, we dont know what the total truth is.

So maybe we all need to seek the facts, all of it, before passing judgement on the company. Just because it is a starter company is no reason to believe that the company is the only villian.

You hit that right on the spot there. Will the negative post what actually happened or just what they want to post? There is always two sides to a story
and all companies have good and bad. Just because somebody reads negative stuff about knight and is not looking at the positive post he decides they are going to control his decisions? Well heck i have a great deal on a bridge for him lol. Better yet maybe i can sell him a used lemon and tell him it is pure gold? Hey he will believe me.
