You're in Griffin Georgia picking up an 11 wide going to Ft Lewis,WA. 22000lb. Load has a little money on it, $8/mile. Spent Friday night securing and tarping and you're leaving out Saturday morning, 5/16/15 Georgia rules. Customer needs it delivered yesterday. What is your ETA?

Thursday, assuming you don't hit weather and have all your permits. Only about 9-10 hrs of sunlight, I am assuming you will go Ga/TN/MO/KS/CO/WY/UT/ID/OR/WA

Friday is a possibility to be sure.

This also assumes you are not tall or long and don't need routes surveys

If already loaded?it about 2650 miles, give or take, assuming daylight driving only? 22,000 lbs shouldn't be that much trouble climbing hills, Thursday eve, Friday be a solid delivery

I'm not familiar with the rules down there but being from the north, I would reset in GA and start daylight Monday. A weekend in GA would go well right about now. As it stands, I will be fighting snow all week. You probably have to shut down on Sunday anyway.

EDIT: Creative way to tell us you're getting $21,000 for 11 wide and 22,000. I thought I was doing good at $3,000 for 560 loaded 10 wide. Not bad, 666. Not bad.

Actually, it wasn't my load. It was another driver. He delivered the load on a Friday. He just got a 34 at the shipper. I told him that he needed to be across the Kentucky line BEFORE the sun set Saturday. He left Saturday morning but stopped for a shower and breakfast. Far as he made it was the TA in Antioch,TN. No Sunday travel. If he had been able to run Sunday, he would have been out of all curfew areas Monday. 3 hour gain on time zones, plus you can run certain states at night with an 11 wide.

For hot money, I would have done my best to have that load on site Tuesday afternoon. That gives you plenty of time to reload and run the following weekend, being mindful that Memorial Day would be approaching. LeftLane always says that some shippers will pay for service, and he's right.

Memorial day? Did I just enter a time warp?

I wondered what that 5/16/15 was for...thought it was some laid back southern HOS rule. Drive 5 hrs in 16 hrs then reset for 15.
