On Gard systems failures

    On mine when it works it works.

    We've got that on some trucks at SNI, they've told us countless times that if it does something like that then it needs to be recalibrated.

    Personally, I like them, but that may be because I haven't had a bad experience with one yet. My truck doesn't have one, but I've driven with that system before and it's handy when you're using cruise.

    Mine is just sux. Anyone know of any real stats on the accuracies on these things.

    Had it recalibrate 4 times already.

    I've heard a 3lb sledge works very good for "recalibrating" them

    The pre-2014 versions (roundish with tiny green screen) need to be manually calibrated.

    The post-2014 (large rectanglular blue screen with dedicated night mode color inverse button) is auto calibrating at highway speeds.
