    Hello All,
I have been driving for just about a year now, and was interested in the intermodal side. I live in KC, and am looking for a company driving position. Seem to be quite a few intermodal co.s in the area, any recommendations for some good companies to look into? Any info would help. I have been running a 53 ft reefer within a 250 mile radius( and quite a bit of local runs) for the last year. Thanks in advance!

I would suggest JB Hunt Intermodal in KC. I've been doing it in my area for the last 6 years. They have company drivers and ICs.

I'd like to hear about your current gig before I could suggest getting involved in intermodal.

I'm looking into KC intermodal too as an O/O. What did you find out? What's Hub paying versus JB?

there is a company in KC called Go Tranz that is looking for O/Os and company drivers,,their phone number is 913-432-2555. they are great people to work with . they are better than hub or some of the others like pinnicle owned by cowen out of Baltimore or Horizon or Creel.
I worked with them for the past 16 years and in the last several months they asked me to come out from Las Vegas to find and buy them trucks

Do they have medical insurance for O/O's? The main reason I'm looking into Pinnacle/Reload, JB and Hub is for the insurance offered. Also, how do they pay?
