I have several friends and I myself have been severely ripped off by Rush Trucks ATL over on bufurd highway. They are absolute crooks. Its funny though, the Rush truck center on moreland ave (southeast ATL) aren't nearly as bad.
I still would not trust them to ANY a/c or EGR/DPF related work though.
09 prostar a/c replaced everything still not working

It took 3 dealers to get mine fixed. Make sure if the compressor was replaced they flushed all of the system first.
The first 2 dealers put on a new compressor and dryer and both expansion valves. The new compressor already has the 3 ounces of oil in it for the entire system.
It would run but barely cool.....The problem was to much oil in the system.
The Dealer in Hickory NC figured it out. Now with the laptop hooked to it the core under the dash cools to 34 degrees.
It had almost 14 ounces of oil in the system.....not good! -
The thing is that when we do the thremistor replacement it gets very cold. That's why I'm thinking it's thermistor/software related.
We're in and out of Hickory all the time so it would be fairly easy to get there. Did they do a full test and act with authority? -
Me and EZ work at same place, I took my AC problem to the Hickory shop and they fixed it with no more issues. I don't know what all they did but like EZ truck it will freeze ya out..lol

I think the update was done on mine last summer at another dealer.
I could not tell any difference after the update.68Goat Thanks this. -
on my pro star after several time changing the sensors, they had to put shrink tube around them to seal them from the condensation and the moisture dripping on them and burn them out. according to navistar that was a bad design and they instructed the dealers to seal these sensors with shrink tubes.

How did that work out for you in Memphis may I ask sir.

That is actually the circuit breaker. The breaker is in a bad spot. It gets hit by the panel when it is put back on sometimes. This can knock it loose and bend the terminals it sits in. This causes a weak connection at the breaker socket, which leads to the heat and enough heat will cause the circuit to go open and the fan to not work. You probably need those terminals replaced inside the socket. As for the message displayed, anytime the bunk heater or a/c is turned on the front needs to be on too. Either just turn the front blower on to the first speed setting, or turn off the bunk blower to make the message go away.
Floridaboy66 and Rogerd Thank this.
