Miles are low for the hours. Do you do stationary work running a pto? You could just do the liner seals on all liners but it wouldn't save you much money. A fresh engine runs so much stronger.

These engines don't last long with stationary/pto duty. Cylinders scuff easily with low loads. I would recommend a Works kit.

High oil level means there is coolant in there. Stop driving it and get it over hauled. It will be good as new, over haul kits are cheap. The liners are replaceable, it's not a bad engine just has some faults. 10X better than a CAT C7/3126. You can try an International dealer for a quote or a trusty diesel mechanic.

My dt466 is leaking from cylinder #3 liner oring. I was quoted $10,000 to repair. It only has $60,000 miles. They refuse to just replace the oring and liner if needed.
I refuse to pay $10k. I purchased the special tools and a shop manual. I plan to actually fix the problem instead of throwing everything at it for $10k. I priced the parts around $700 plus my time which is free to me. A technician friend of mine told me if it was covered by warranty International would only pay to fix the failed part and not do an overhaul on such a low milage engine. Repair shops 30-40 years ago actually repaired vehicles. Now technicians today automatically want to just do rebuilds or install new units instead of doing just the repairs needed.

My number 3 cylinder had a bad oring. The liners were eat up. The previous owner used regular green antifreeze in the truck. Bug bucks to repair now....
