Take the truck in to another dealer. International has a modified cowl tray that fixes the concern. Take it in before you get hurt!

Hey Heavyd.. I’m also having the similar issue. I get fumes while I’m parked when the heat is on. I do see a lot of Carbon staining on the back of the engine where the doser injector is. Past 2 days it smokes a lot when I first start in the morning and then it goes away. I’m also losing 1 gallon of coolant every 2 months.
Please let me know if you can help on that.
    Thanks

You have exhaust leaks causing the smell. Maxxforce engines leak out #5 and #6 exhaust port and/or the flex section of piping behind the engine. Coolant loss with no external leaks is 99.99% of the time a failed egr cooler.

    Sam718 Thanks this.

I have been getting the smell for few months now when I turn on the heat that’s when I smell it, but this smoke Now is really bad.. it smells like engine oil and when I start to drive after 5-6 hours of the engine being shut , then it smokes really bad and anyone behind me can’t see anything.. people have to slow down. After 5 minutes it’s back to normal and no smoke. Where could the oil be leak to create that much smoke? And it doesn’t do this while parked idling

You likely have a DOC that is degraded and not regening properly. That is why the smoke comes and goes.
