    This is the latest.
Since I had load commitments I had to drive with out the head light. Since I have day time lights I disconnected the right low beam and drove with my brights at night.
I got it home and tested the first harness and had no power on both sides of the harness. I tried tracing it back and testing. once I got under the truck I stopped because I had to leave again this morning so I didnt want to take all the covering apart.
Against all advise I jumped a wire from the right headlight to the left. The hot wire only and it works. I drove all day today and it still works. Happy? No im not. I still consider it not fixed.
I will be home tomorrow night and I will go at it again until I have to leave this Saturday.

I wish I knew where the actual power came out of the body controller and where the B.C. was located. Is this body controller located under the fuse panel passenger side?

Did you not read my post? I really can't get any more specific than that. The body controller is located behind the panel left of the clutch pedal.

no I didn't read that sorry. That has gotten wet in the past. I've had sorts of little problems since.
I guess my answer is simple now. replace it.

Thank you to everyone for helping me.

International likes to go over board with too many and too tight of zip ties. We have seen many times the body controller mother board inside is actually cracked near a connector because the connector was zip tied too tight and too much side stress was on the body controller. This can lead to all kinds of intermittent problems too. If you are replacing the body controller, a new one will come blank and it will have to be programmed for your truck. Only a dealer can do this.

ok I finally replaced my body controller today.
All fixed. All my symptoms have vanished. Left headlight is back on its own power.

I just wanted to let everyone know it was resolved. Thank you again for all your help.

Gland to know you got it fixed! Those body controllers aren't cheap. I had some weird stuff going on with mine, no jake, cruise, or dump valve. It was the body controller, 1100.00 bucks for the new one. Now my air horn doesn't work, and to cold out to chase wires. As long as the city horn works, I'm legal.

Yup, I had it done at International in Phoenix. $1081.00 for the part and $180.00 to install and program.

And since you mentioned it. My dump didn't work either. I had no idea it was related. Just checked and it works now as well.

Mine was turning the heat on in the sleeper while I was driving. Turning the sleeper overhead light on. And shorted out my wipers among other stuff. What a nightmare it was.

Had same issue on my 2009 international prostar with 435 ISX Cummins Engine. I changed out wire harness first the right went then the left , once I changed them no problems since. I could use a little help. Can anyone tell me were the body controller is located on my particular model truck, also does anybody know where the air break gauges connects to and where does the fan regulator connects to. Also are these two component connected some how? Thanx

Body controller is located behind the little kick panel to the left of the clutch pedal. It is mounted on the inside of the cab wall near the floor right in front of the drivers door. I'm not sure which brake gauge you are talking about. Do you mean the primary and secondary air pressure gauges, or the brake application gauge? The sensors for those are near the base of the steering column area above the pedals. Those gauges are also driven by the body controller. I'm also not sure what you mean by "fan regulator". If you mean the speed control, that is actually called a Linear Power Module and it is located right on the blower box in front of the passenger seat near the floor. It is not connected in any way directly to the gauges. What issue are you having?
