I got GPS insight installed on my truck and is giving this alert:

    Code:
Brakes, Power Unit (MID 136) reports ABS Axle 2 Right (SID 4) is Mechanical system not responding properly (FMI 7)

Can anyone shed a light on this? I've searched through pdfs and the forum and have not found a single answer regarding this. Also where can I get full reference from these types of codes?

It tells you axle 2 right. Each axle has a hall effect sensor to monitor wheel movement. The ABS computer does not allow a lock up. When the ABS detects a fault the ABS shuts down and reverts back to normal braking.

Them sensors can go bad, get dirty and not read properly, the wires can get messed up, etc.

You have no choice but to get her fixed as it's a violation of the regulations. 0-1 year experience? Company driver? Tell your company, put it in a shop and don't worry about trying to figure it out.
