We bought a truck from Lone Mountain in late Jan. This past week we have broken down twice. Electrical fault keeps popping up when it happens. The first time it happened after fueling, this time it happened while we were in movement. Very nervous right now...... Is this a lemon? ...... The warranty only covers the engine......

May just be an intermittent electrical fault, have to find and repair it. Can be a major pia with intermittent problems as they disappear, and you're not sure if they're fixed or not. Any details as to what happened, or what the fault is?

None yet. A mechanic is putting the codes into a computer to see what they mean.

what is going on with the truck when this happens.. one that i drove a 2009 had a problem with the control module that is located behind the plastic panel by your left foot.. the gauges would go nuts and alarms would go off.. its pricey 1300 if i remember right. i replaced that and even now it still acts up.. if this sounds familiar at all to you with the truck running tap that plastic kick panel to the left of the clutch pedal i would just kick it and it would straighten its attitude and go on.. i had this happen to two a 2009 and a 2010 Penske rental that they couldn't figure out lol

The mechanic said that it seems like the truck thinks its in neutral and it won't change out of it. Earlier this week we unplugged and replugged all the batteries and it started working again, but today we have tried several times and no results. Also, the mechanic said he reset everything from his computer, but the truck is not responding to it. Electrical fault, then abs module, gen trans takes turns flashing on the module.

im afraid we need some more info here...... if the tranny is affected by this that's where I would start looking for bad conections.. the wire harness under the cab that plugs into the tranny could be badly corroded especially with the horrible winter we had.. electrical problems are the worst and nothing makes me want to light a match and call the insurance company more lol
2013Maxx Thanks this. -
Lol, that's exactly what he said.... Light a match lmao. Well the codes didn't come back with anything useful. Even the mechanic said that nothing is coming up wrong with it
Davis680968 Thanks this.
