Hi, well i changed my oil pressure sensor since the mechanic said that is the only problem. I went on one trip and on the way back, i filled up Diesel at a small Truck stop. After 40 miles the warn engine light turned on during up hills and my engine would shut down. It happend ever 10 miles until I got back. The mechanic plugged it to the computer and cannot find out a single issue. He says its from excessive idiling and taking light loads?? Please someone help. I changed the fuel filters and still nothing

Does the oil pressure read good? Are your fluid levels good? The light coming on uphill sounds like your oil level is low or the oil pump is bad but you should see that on the gauge with the needle dropping to zero.
I understand the need to get home but you really shouldn't override a engine multiple times that is shutting down. Overriding is just to get off the highway. If it was a real problem instead of electrical you could be buying a new engine. That's a very expensive chance.

I would check the oil level. I would also check the oil pressure. If the oil is low, then add up to full. If your pressure is lower than normal, then change your oil. You might have a partially clogged oil filter. If that isn't the problem then I would take it to someone who can connect to your cpm. If that doesn't show any problems, I would look for a wire that could be shorting out. It doesn't take much to short out wire.

What is the actual code it is logging? What engine and model of truck is this?
-
Its a 09 Isx435 HP. dont have model #. Today we did a full regen 45 minutes and it ran well for 35 miles til it arrived to the mechanic. Mechanic said there was no active codes but there was smoke when he opened the oil cap and said it was starving for fuel. I have only done 1 trip since i purchased the truck. He said it was burning some oil.
77fib77 Thanks this. -
Also check the coolant level , some of them have a coolant level sensor as the fluid moves away from the sensor it can cause issues , it usually throws a code though

If it isn't logging any codes I would say the engine is losing ignition power.

Double check antifreeze level.
