Have 06 9400i with isx. It runs good but at high way speeds of above 70 snd ehen climbing are eng under load the stop eng light comes on and it will shut down have payed close att to the gauges and noticed the ung oul temp very high and the lught comes on if you back out of it and let the water temp go down just a bit the light will go out but the water temp is with in opp rating range just the oil temp is maxed out after running truck hard for long time stright the oil psi will slowly drip from 30 psi to 20 psi what is my problom and what and how do i check for the problom

and if you find the problem happening again too soon. you've probably got a plugged crankcase vent filter.
the engine can't vent the fumes properly. so it contaminates the oil. and lowers viscosity.
i changed mine. and switch to mobil delvac. isx seems to like that oil the best. and i've tried them all.
i once drove a cat engine. with the same problem your having. that motor had a cat recall for undersized pistons. all 6 top rings were broke. a fresh oil change would last a week. then it was garbage again. no pressure. hot temp. engine light. but that truck didn't shut down. guessing it wasn't programmed for that. -
What ever is wrong ain't going to be a cheap as the free advise on the TTR forum!
