Just shooting arrows. Check your ignition switch, maybe a short inside. I always hear with an electrical problem, check your ground connections. Because your wiper comes on check the connection at your wiper switch and the wiper motor.

Check all the relays and fuses in the power distribution panel, ( large plastic black box on the left inner fender under the hood) for any corrosion. If the body controller is missing accessory or ignition power when the key is turn on issues like this will pop up.

That could be, I would still say it is a wire problem, but the only way to test for a bad body controller is to install a test one. We do this for our good customers that we know will come back after a week or two. If you have a good relationship with your dealer you could ask them if that is a possibility. I am sure they will need some kind of deposit in case you skip town on them. Corrosion can set in and control boards do go bad to cause issues like this. Bad, weak or broken solder connections inside the case are actually common too with the older ones. One thing to remember is that the body controller has absolutely nothing to do with the engine. It doesn't have the ability to shut off or prevent from starting the engine. If the engine problem is still there, I am still going with wiring problem.
