We just bought an 2012 international prostar about two months ago. It spent almost a month in dealer for warranty work and have replaced the injectors and the injector wiring harness due to a short. At the time we did the work on the injectors it was having trouble shifting. It is a 13 spd ultrashift.
They claimed that the shifting problem was due to a failure with the injectors and was working fine after the "fix".
Now it has more problems. On the way back from its last trip the yellow triangle warning light came on along with the fault code "gen trans flt". It would not upshift until the driver disabled the anti rollback switch. Everything went back to normal for a few hrs and happened again.
Now the truck will not go into 1st at all. Flashes N then F and beeps whenever trying to put into gear. ABS module code electrical fault code started flashing as well. As well as the numbers 88 and 27 Where the gear number would normally display.
Have tried disconnecting batteries top of transmission fluid checked as many grounds as we could find.
Any ideas ? Am broken down currently and have no one open at the moment to call.

Hi boneebone, I was thinking the same thing. Like most of today's modern gadgets, they're fine when they work, but when they don't, heaven help you. I've always thought these complicated systems in trucks was just an excuse to make sure regular Joes can't fix them and to keep their mechanics working. Due to the people that can't shift a truck now, more and more trucks will have automatics, and these problems will become the norm. So sad.
