It cuts in at 210 degrees on a tandem with grain box. I am running very short trips hauling grain. Can I change cut in temp so fan cuts in a bit sooner....lets say 200 degrees. If i manually turn fan on, temps drop off fairly .is it adjustable or can I fool it in some way or another??

No, set that way for emissions....but you can over ride fan. Fan is air off fail safe on....tilt hood, left side near left top of firewall be a brass connector with a couple of plastic airlines, end one runs down to harness and disappears , follow back to brass nipple and unhook....= full time fan.

Caution: Engine is designed to run at 210 loaded and on purpose. Lower temp will confuse ECM and trip occasional warning lights.

Radiator cap is also bad on these trucks.... same one used on 6.0 Ford. $8.00 at parts house...

    .good luck

Yes, nothing wrong with 210, normal temps. Is there some sort of problem because of it?

Thanks for replys and good info. I hate the fact that when I pull into a field my fan is on the edge of kicking in at 210 degrees . The dust from the the combine gets sucked into the rad while dumping on the go. If I got to field at 180 ,took a combine dump, got back on road and fan kicked in later out of the dust...ii would be grand. I know I could manally do it with clutch fan but hired men dont take the time.
