'96 4700 ECM removal

Hello all-
Anyone have any idea how to remove the ECM from a 1996 4700. I took the instrument cluster out, can see the ECM enclosed in a metal bracket, figured it would slide out, but would not budge. I'm stumped and exhausted.

It looks like a screw on the bottom of the bracket and is inaccessible.

NO. The screw is in the side UNDER the bracket and appears inaccessible unless all wiring etc is removed.

It appears it has to be removed through the dash and not the firewall.
