Hi Balakov,
Right now im at 5mpg ...and im going nuts ...
truck does not have the roof fairing , not tanks covers or cab fairings ...
If I get the roof fairing installed , the tank covers , the cab fairings ...can I expect better MPG ? What improvement can I expect ? -
You didn't mention what kind of freight/trailer.
You mention no Roof Fairing so guessing Van/Reefer.
What kind of Transmission.
And Engine.
Also how fast you run.
This truck should probably be doing better than 5, if everything is working like it should.
EGR (possibly DPF) -
cummins isx
automatic transmission
limit at 65 mph
no bubble on the roof so the van is dragging about two feet above the Cab ( in the wind)
wondering if its worth it to install the roof bubble, the tank covers , and the cab fairings ... -
Roof fairing probably.
But would try to figure out what's wrong with it first. -
Your not going to burn hardly any fuel at all......... Because the truck will be in the shop all the time.
Best of luck to you....

The roof fairing would seem important. You can get a Pro Star factory one, OR after market that does not look factory. Read that link he posted. If you're getting 5 MPG, its time to start cleaning some sensors and emissions stuff. That should solve your problem.
I'm not sure what tires you are, if they are caps or off brand, they play a role. Check the air filter, if its a trade truck they probably never touched it. Go to ebay and search for Davco 382, I'd recommend installing one of these. Good luck, let us know how it goes. -
Mine is an 09 and depending how heavy I am and how my right foot acts I get between 6-7.5
