When you say it is stuck on "MPH", do you mean it is pointing straight down? If the needle is pointing straight down that is a diagnostic indicator that there is fault with the speedo sensor or circuit. Since you are also experiencing low power this is also symptom of a failed vehicle speed sensor or circuit as the engine will derate power without a valid speed signal.

The circuit is basically the wiring itself from the sensor to the ECM. The problem is either the sensor or wiring. You have a 50/50 chance of fixing it by simply replacing the sensor.

The system will continuously keep testing the circuit, once the fault is gone it will restore itself to normal. If the check engine light is on, you might have to turn the key on, then off for 30 seconds, then back on.

I have a 2012 international prostar, when I'm on the road going up hill, it slows down and the rpm needle will go back and forth, and sometimes it won't go to the 10th speed. Any help about what is wrong with it?
