I don't think that's normal at all. Good luck!

Negative Ghostrider....Parked regens usually last right around 45 mins give or take. Get it checked out & good luck....I have yet to run across ANY issues with the new DPF/post-new emissions engines that were either easy to diagnose/fix or cheap.

*mutters under breath about stupid EPA BS*

No problem. I had a '12 pete that was still in regen 6 hrs later cause I fell asleep. The electronics on these have there faults. A parked regen would never be needed if the system worked correctly and regen'd when running as designed. My pete would lose speed ...say from 62 down to 50 and if I didn't pull over and do the parked regen would then have a top speed of 40 forcing me off. It's in the computer and no mech/tech wants to hear about it. Most are trouble free, you got a bad draw.

The ecu wants to see temps of inlet doc 600° dpf in let 900+- outlet within 100° of of inlet if the HC doser is dirty it will have a hard time reaching proper temps how many miles on her?

assuming your truck was doing a Regen while driving before pulling off, engage the parked regen wait like 15 mins then cancel it. By some dumb luck it would clear the dpf light and i wouldn't have any further issues. i drive a 2013 prostar with a maxxforce.
