Unfortunately I don't know of much you can do except run it until it does give you trouble. In my past experiences a lot of shops don't even care to look at it if it isn't throwing codes, even if you say there is an issue. To them they can't determine what is going bad where unless it is throwing a code. Hopefully it will clear up and not grief.

    trukngrl Thanks this.

I hope it clears up, but this has been going on for 3 weeks now and it just keeps getting worse. Just not bad enough to throw a code *sigh*

What is the actual problem the truck is experiencing? Forget about the fuel. Describe the actual problem you notice with the truck- smoking, rough idling, no power, anything like that. Take the fuel completely out of the equation.

An it's been doing it for 3 weeks? Fuel filters I assume have been changed? Has the charge air cooler been checked for leaks at all? Air filter dirty?
What motor does that have an how many miles?

    trukngrl Thanks this.

I have had fuel filters changed about 4 times now. Air cooler has been check, no leaks. Air filter has been checked, not dirty. It has an isx in it and 53000 miles

Ohh those isx motors are trouble. They are either really good or complete junk. I think you got a junk one. Once they start having problems they just continue. I think those motors are famous for tearing up the cams. I wouldn't think it would happen in that many miles but you never know.
