After cleaning the tanks out, filtering the fuel we had, changing the fuel filters (for the 6th time in 3 weeks) and putting diesel 911 in the tanks. We've went from 4.2 to 5.0 so..... I'm thinking that the fuel was not the problem

You could get a oil sample done and it will maybe give you a idea if something is wrong with the motor.
