The low pressure warning light is actually turned on by the cluster itself, not the engine. The light will come on when the pressure is below a certain unsafe level. Not sure what that is, probably anything less than 10 psi. The cluster will also sound an alarm with 5 beeps once this threshold has been met. With it flashing at key on engine off I suspect something is messed up with the cluster because it should recognize when the engine isn't running as well. If the engine did have severly low engine oil pressure you would get the STOP engine warning light coming on too.

had the same problem, with one of my trucks, Don't worry there is a easy and simple fix. it took me 3 months of wire checking to find the problem but I finally found it. First open up your driver side box door. you will see a wiring harness going into the cab there, with the dash going crazy and buzzers going off, wiggle that harness everything will go back to normal, you can stop there and wiggle those wires every time it starts to act up. Or you can follow that harness to the inside of your cab. on the lower side panel driver side you will remove 4 screw caps then the 4 screws holding the panel on, pull out the wires that are there, you will notice 2 small wires red and black that will have exposed wire at there ends, those wires are touching each other the red has power to it and is grounding it self on the black, that is what's making your gauges and dash light act crazy. all you need to do is cut those 2 wires and tape the ends. problem solved. p.m. me if I can help more.
