Washed my 07 International 4300 DT466. Drove 10 min. to home base and parked, next morning Wait to start light came on during gauge check then remained off, starter would not crank with key, jumped contacts, starter works. Checked all fuses, breakers, in cab and on left front fenderwell, swappped out starter relay, checked three fusible links near engine compartment fuse box, battery box fuses and links checked:biggrin_2552: out. Don't know where to look anymore.

The engine ECM actually allows the starter to crank if it is properly booted up. When you turn on the key do you get the yellow CHECK engine light and red STOP engine coming on for a bulb check? Also, if this has an automatic transmission the transmission TCU also has to be properly powered up and happy to allow the engine to crank. Did you check the starter relay along the harness near the firewall, or the solenoid on the starter itself?

The only light that does not illuminate during lamp check is the yellow service light. Are you refering to starter relay in the under hood fuse box?

When you say you washed it what did you wash? Just the truck or the engine too?
If you washed the engine most likely you have water in your sensors, and electrical connectors, causing sending a fault signal to the ECM. Dry out the connectors blow it with air,or use electric contact spray.

I would have it towed to an International dealer before throwing an expensive and non-returnable ECM on it.
