My blower motor for the climate control system has gone out. I only have air movement now when the truck is moving. I need to know where the blower motor is and how to access it so I can change it. If anyone has any experience with this please let me know the steps. I have an 09 ProStar.

Right hand (passenger) side, mounted against the firewall. Access should be from the engine compartment side... it's been a really long time since I've done one, so I'll take a look at one tomorrow to refresh my memory, unless someone with better memory of it posts before I get a chance to.

I have a 2011 prostar and had to do this this past fall and mine is passenger side under the fuse box, pop the panel on the passenger side inside (one with thr big international logo on it) then remove the bolts and pop the bottom part off you will see the blower motor down at the bottom near where ur feet would be. Be Careful as alot of wires run thur this area also.

    hope this helps.

Also, the blow motor comes alone and not with the squirrel cage fan. You have to take the old one off. They are not strong at all and if you warp it then it will make noise. You may want to take the motor and fan to the dealer and have them switch the fan blades to the new motor.

Great! Careful putting it in so you don't bend the fan. I have first hand experience with that!

Good info! My 99' 9200i's fan seems to have gone out too. I will save the fan blade when I swap it out.

    Start this thread again,
    2010 T800 ac/heater blower where it located?

Only has warm air coming out when moving, hit a good bump and she works again; until the next bump!
    Any thoughts?
