nothing new, could happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. could be a big truck, or a car and could be due to anything from driving sleepy to medical reasons.

Oh ok...I misunderstood what you were trying to say in your original post. What your saying is that this driver just made a u-turn thru the median on the interstate. I use to see that all the time in Texas especially if the interstate was backed up. If they couldn't make a u-turn they would take off thru the grass onto the service road.

Crazy people out there! You never know what your gonna see or what their gonna do!

 

I saw that recently near me (Western NY) night time-trailer sitting over the 'ditch part' on the median-tractor on side of road- not sure if the driver knew the median (3 lanes exp split w/median)was that deep of a dip. He was just past a U turn spot too. Needless to say I am sure he needed a tow out. Not sure of the company since it was night too dark to read

 

Saw a driver on Sunday on the NY thruway BACKING UP on the shoulder because he missed his exit!
