Hey, Roadkill what kind of tractors are they runnin these days. I'm thinking of signing with them. I just graduated for the second time getting my CDL and am a retired military. They showed a run from South Gate to I-35 and back on a condo. What kind of run do you think that would be. Thanks

Yes, the shop mechanix need some "safety" training of their own, them thinking holding up a road driver is "safe"they think it's ok to give intermodal preferance...not cool at all.

I'm out of the Chicago terminal, but they sent me to Cedar Rapids for the B-service. Got in there 6am Monday and I was ready to roll by noon.

At least I got the B-service and SMITH system training done last week so I'm all good for this week.

Been with JBH now for 8 months, have only taken off 10 days and run on 18/3 OTR board, east of I-35 and back, paid .39 per mile and to date made 23k,right now been sitting 3 days waiting for load, weekend dispatch has no authority to do anything but babysit the board, before anyone pops up about bad ETA's, etc i have a 98% on time out of 110 loads,33% idle and 6.8 mpg avg,it doesnt matter cause the company brokers out the goodpaying high mile loads to other carriers and O/O's that lease on to them, you will get a newer IH Prostar w/small sleeper,Bendix Wingman collision avoidance system that beeps all the time if a vehichle is less than a second in front of truck, you will visit the same shippers/recievers over and over as you only haul Top 10/Service Critical loads that are very profitable to JBH not YOU,just waiting for my HazMat and a phone call to start with a Regional LTL carrier 6% turnover rate and 70K year is average, have multiple years pulling triples which is a requirement,do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Guess what WEENER is the same, and a Former JBHunt driver said the sam as I say for WEENER get your 6 monts in then switch seats. I made the mistake of calling Weener for shorting my pay, and having the truck breakdown where it took 4 extra Days because service didn't know what they wanted done. would have been driving in 6 Days not 10.
