    JB hunt chicago intermodal

I was wondering if anybody currently is working for jb hunt intermodal in chicago area? I was offered a job staring in july, but i would have to quit my current job to go with them. It sounds good for being home everynight and i only have 6 months under my belt, but i have heard bad things for the company as a whole, any help? thanks.

Dont listen to the naysayers. I am not on intermodal or run out of chicago but I have been working for JB for 11years and its been the best company I have ever worked for. When I needed time off they gave it to me with no problem. If there is anything they can do for you they will. As any trucking company expects is that you work If you work and run hard you will be sucessful. If they will take you with 6 months thats a good deal.

i just started on intermodal. I leave monday. Orientation is long and they repeat everything more than once. most drivers said you can make what there telling you. one thing is there all about safety and then some. hope it works out....

Looking for honest answer as I have a fairly dependable gig that pays fair, but the amount of BS I have to put up with is off the charts. Have been with them 5 years and truthfully I am just tired of dealing with it. My question is, can a guy CLEAR $1000 per week running Intermodal out of Chicago? Anything less and it wouldn't be feasable for me to move. Thanks in advance.
