Does anybody run this account of Van Buren, Ohio?
-
I responded to a job ad today and it turned out to be a dedicated home depot acct. on long Island ny. I was intrested in the job until I realized I was talking with a recruiter and I dont want to fall for that again. The recruiter said I would have to do a four day orientation in NJ. It is a flatbed position running lumber at night. Anyone know anything about this acct. Should I trust these people?

The recruiter I talked to when I was hired was truth full with me I have been here a year love it I went through orientation in east brunswick as well it was a pain but its only four days the motel is nice has a fridge microwave and stove you get your own room they will give you both hair and urine drug tests so don't shave your hair they made a guy go home until his hair grew back you will have to the standard backing and check rides buckle up even in the yard blow your horn and get out and walk around the trailer before you back . Do not make a right turn on red during your check ride . You will have to take a physical dot and company physicals you have to do the stair stepping thing and you will have to lift weights you may want to ask the recruiter the requirements for your account each account can have different levels depending on what you have to lift . Most people can pass the basic level and the stair stepping excersise unless your about to fall over dead I know 400 pound guys that passed it and the weight lifting will depend on your account but you should go for the highest level you can reach they only let you do it once during orientation the more qualifications you have the more jobs you will have to chose from .

yes I would believe the recruiters, I started on home depot in columbia mo. 11 years ago, but changed accounts in 2010 cause depot got slow. But as with what mue driver said I 100% AGREE.
