Hey guys! I'm about to go to orientation in Columbus, OH for the Home Depot Dedicated Route at JB Hunt. From what I understand I'll be working out of the Van Buren, OH DC. Any body know anything about this area? Any useful information would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys trying to make up my mind between JB Hunt Intermodal out of Chicago or their Home Depot account out of Monroe, OH. I have gotten quite a bit of info on the intermodal, but not so much for the Home Depot. Intermodal sounds great, but I am thinking I might be able to get through the house some through the week on the Home Depot. I only live 25 minutes from the Home Depot DC and I live one mile off of 675. Just curious what you guys think the odds of this are. What are guys averaging on pay out of Monroe, OH and how is the account in general. Any info would be greatly appreciated as I'm hoping to make a decision in a couple days. Thanks!

I worked at job at van BUREN Ohio Home Depot account. I loved it. But management. Is write up happy. They kept saying I was always speeding But I was not I finally left. Don't care for job any more they did me dirty more than once. Home Depot acct. is easy really enjoyed it though. Truck computers flag you as speeding when your not. So I tried to explain to office but you can't communicate with dispatch. As much as I loved job I got fed up with dispatch and left. I would be doing posted speed limit and they would say I am doing 11 miles over this would happen on a weekly basis. Not good dispatch. But great acct

I’m about to start J.B. Home Depot account in Pittston, Pa. what kind of money can I expect? Regional. The recruiter and the add stated “average was $78,000 m-f”?

Let me know how it's working out for you. I know most of the trainers there and might be able to help you ou with some advice. You in a sleeper or daycab?

I ran a daycab there for 8 years and never made 78,000. If you get decent runs everyday and you work an occasional Saturday it might be possible with their new pay increases.

I heard they are getting an 8cpm increase in pay. They are always hiring so if flatbed isn't working out you could always give them a try.
