    I started with JB Aug 5 2013.
60 days of forced dispatch with the "learning" of the freight lanes and so forth
Been on the load Board almost a month now.
The load Board should be less complicated than what they have on there but after awhile of learning what goes where and what pays what you can make the system work for you
Got to stop thinking mile miles miles and go for rate rate rate.
The one thing that will help make or break you will be the dispatcher!

Is it load boards? Or dispatcher?

I thought if you chose off of a load board, you'd be able to be rid of your dispatcher. Does JB Hunt have both?

Once you get on the load vis you still have your dispatcher. its just a matter of you running yourself vs the dispatch. they have both

The only thing I do not like about the load board is sending in for rates but after you get a feel for the loads you will know what the rate is from point A to B
Now There are times where some load pay great but getting out the other end can be a pain. Deadhead

    What are they telling you?
The lease itself is ok the only issues I had was the choice of programs
60% of linehaul plus fuel surcharge Forced dispatch (Not Supposed to refuse loads) No paid deadhead and I've heard that is a killer
Mileage =$0.90cpm Loaded $0.60cpm Deadhead. fuels surcharge is $0.38cpm this week I think mileage works only if you can average over 2500. they key on that really is 2800 after expenses
the maintenance plan is what gets some folks. The "New" Old plan is $0.12cpm into escrow and you have 30 days that they cover then all maintenance is on you
The MSC "Maintenance Service Contract" is $0.17cpm that's is supposed to cover the unit from bumper to bumper minus abuse and driver error. that money goes to the company
Load vis board can work. but its at 57% of line haul plus the full fuel surcharge. Learning which loads pays better

no there is a different board that LP and IC drivers use. That board is call the power only board. That's kinda like the load board in truckstops
