I was talking with a JB Hunt recruiter who told me the yearly was 72k I guess based on .48cpm out 12 weeks at a time. Just want to check in with drivers here to see if any here's got that experience with the company. General thoughts on earnings and conditions with this company from JB drivers appreciated.

Sounds a little optimistic, but 12 weeks on the road at a time? That's just plain brutal.

I thought JB was out of the OTR game. Mostly DCS accounts.

Oh and when did they start paying .48 cpm or is this on a dedicated account?

Did you ask what size truck they put you in? How many days off do you get after 12 weeks out...3?...1 for each month?

it's the will run otr not dcs. yeah i know 12 weeks is brutal if the money were right it would allow me to save for luthier school which is what i really want to do anyway. but on the other hand I am skeptical, as it seems others here are. days off are one week paid 800

actually you get a week off and you are paid for the week you are off and they will let you go anywhere east of the ms. and just down to jacksonville fl. I have a friend that works there he likes it every 12 weeks you get a one week paid vacation hell I don't know

That gives you four weeks a year to live, the rest of the time you are working like a slave. As long as you have nothing else in your life, I guess it would be ok.
