When J.B. Hunt first started doing Intermodal it was pretty rough but now I'm surprised. Chassis are great like everyone said. Trailers are rarely overweight, sometimes a lot of drop and hook, or take the trailer some where else pick up an empty or load. More loads = more money. Good luck
RookieJ1987 Thanks this. -
jb hauls over 1,000,000 intermodal loads per year, for the last several years.

I am in what they call Chicago Intermodal West. Which means, I pull into and out of the rail yards. Regional is a whole other thing, of which I can't answer anything about. My understanding is that it covers OH, PA (western), KY, IN, MI, IL, WI, MN, and IA. Dunno about MO. And Regional drivers rarely go into the railyards.
Where about GB are you? I live down in Manitowoc.
Oh, the Intermodal West covers, IL, IA, WI, and MN. And the railyards in Chicago and St Paul, MN. -
They will ruin your DAC. I walked out of orientation and they stuck me with quit under dispatch. Run while you can. Way better companies out there.

Ebola Guy How is running intermodal for JB? I have been hoping to get to actually take to someone that lives close to me to get more info.
