JB Hunt wants all CB;s and AM/FM Radios out of their trucks

Any info to back it up? Listening to the wind all day will drive me crazy

 

That's news to my ears. I know JB doesn't want you using GPSs other than the one in the computer and definitely no cell phone, texting, internet surfing, or wearing earbuds. But I haven't heard anything about no CB or AM/FM.

 

smh they really think truck drivers are homeless, no family, no nothing. i have a family and i care about them i would be on my cell phone 24/7 as long it's doesn't affect my driving and attention.

 

Let me clarify, they don't want you using the above mentioned items whilst driving.

The OP really doesn't seem to be happy with his career choice, every thread they start is always full of negative comments. Makes you wonder why they don't better themselves so they can quit complaining.

If all the radios and CB's are taken out of the trucks, how is the driver supposed to get either weather alerts or much needed news on various emergency situations?
