**** that. Your getting into just being a slave at that point. Everyone needs time off and a total of only 20 days a year off is bs. I like working for JB Hunt doing intermodal but if they ever tried to get me to do that I would quit in a heart beat.

Will run fleet has been gone for awhile now. I ran that fleet for 8 months and it was good money and you had a week off paid every 3 months.

just spoke to them today. They are getting desperate. I told them they are not offering enough incentives for me to drive OTR and as usual they get defensive. Thats ok, they still have the money to pay the ceo 4million a year and so forth. Whats your next move? not JBH

Here is the low down on OTR at hunt. If you like to play games with adults then look for most of them to play along. The dispatchers will screw with the navigation system to intentionally get you lost so make sure you have your own. Al Grant, country as hell is a company snitch as are some of the other drivers so don't befriend any of them. If you defend yourself know your loads will be cut or get comfortable with the mountains. If you want home time look to meet resistance even if you have spent 4-5 months OTR. The cents per mile offered will somehow change after you're hired so get it in writing.

Why on earth would you believe the navigation system? And JB Hunt has nothing to do with the navigation system other than paying for it.

I didn't know JBH OTR was even as common as the guy stated. Time off, what's that??? JK. I'm running DCS regional and I don't get paid vacation till second year. Running pretty hard too 26-2900 miles a week with 4 days home time per week. The money is great but 62-68 hours week after week is a grind. As far as the GPS my experience is its no worse or better than anything else I've used. For sure you don't need to rush out and buy your own system rite away.
