Does JB Hunt have cameras and policies against using the cb during driving, or talking on the phone during driving (bluetooth of course)?

Talked to someone, I could get dedicated tankers at 46cpm, all drop and hook for pittsburg paint, why does it sound to good to be true? 5 days out, mi in il and oh only 2 days back

All trucking companies are against driving and talking, less distractions while driving is more attention to the road, don't let any jb hunt see you driving nd talking you will be terminated on spot i seen them doing it at the home depot account, seatbelt, speeding, driving nd talking were terminated on spot. jb hunt is well known as a company that wont take you home until you been on the road for at least 2 weeks nd remember they will tell you what you want to hear to bring you in.

Only if they have installed cameras in the trucks. Which I haven't seen any yet in their trucks. JB is a very diverse company. Most of it now is dedicated accounts of one sort or the other. The account I was on Alco siding. Was a great job. Typical run was from Texas to VA and back. I would leave home around 12 Wednesday deliver Friday. Get back haul and usually deliver in Dallas on Monday. Some times I would make it home on Sunday. Get up and deliver. Go back home and sit till Wed. Occasionally from Texas to WA. Or filler loads to the Midwest. The loads were pre loaded 30 min. From the house. They lost that account when Alco closed up. Then I was moved to another account which I hated so eventually we parted ways. It lasted 3 1/2 years.
When I was there they were moving away from random OTR loads. If your going to apply with them you need to check available jobs in your area and apply only for that specific job. Some are going to be slip seat others your assigned trucks. Each account has its own number of trucks assigned to that account. Each terminal has it own assigned trucks. Very corporate run company. Each terminal has its own terminal manager, account managers, and dispatch assigned to it. So if you go to another terminal and need something out of the ordinary. Your home terminal has to ask for a favor from the other same way with accounts. Maintenance problems are taken care of universally. Its like this if another account needs a driver to fill in they have to ask your account manager if its OK they just can't pull you off yours just because.
They promised two days off and 40 thousand a year. They meet that promise when I was on Alco. Thats the job I applied for and got. It was only after they lost the account that I left. If they had not I would be getting close to ten years with them.

The other thing. They tell you up front what the rules are. They enforce the rules. If you don't like their rules then you need to get up and leave orientation. They tell you what the rules are on the account. If you don't like them don't take the account. If you break the rules and are caught. Man up accept responsibility of your actions, and deal with it. The clearly explained what the rules were. If you worked for me and broke my rules your ### would be gone too.

JB is a great company to work for, They do not have cameras in or on trucks as of yet. They do have a strict policy on use of phone. Not allowed while driving at all even Bluetooth. All companies would prefer no distractions in the cab as in Cb's radios walkie talkies and phones.

I'm thinking of joining them. After working a local beer delivery gig, getting a hernia ,having surgery I'm finished with that "so called UNION "JOB. No overtime and treated like garbage. They have local dedicated here. I'd like to see my kids grow up.
