You need to be careful, that 2nd recruiter was an outside recruiter probally, In my experience being a mentor at JBS, sometimes the outside recruiters are behind on their info, you need to call them back and make sure.This happened to one of my trainees.

Ya, I know it gets hit there. Getting ready to pick up in Greeley and headed there myself. I go down there a lot. I was just saying you can't run it all the time if you are setting. I'll just run it when I go to sleep. I'll go set in the store and read a book to save the APU batts. I have also made some complaints/suggestions on fixing that issue.

Thats what I meant by thats why tell have it set up so female can't pass the ergo. If you don't have female drivers then you don't have to keep male prevs under control.

 

Let me know if you make it. Maybe they only keep the women that men won't hit on, so ugly 2 bags won't help.

 

I , as a new grad.. also a female.. 5'5 and 175 lbs went to JBS for orientation.. I DID pass the ergo.. not that hard.. lifitng 90#'s for a short distance is not that hard.
The reason I am not with them, is that they want new grads to be able to back up perfectly... well what do you know.. we new grads are not perfect at backing....hmmm go figure.

I am now with CRST and they are treating me good... I know all the bad things about this company and all the other mills, but we all have to do our time and just deal with it to get a good job.

 

I believe they will nitpik anything once they have you in there to get rid of you. They get you in there so they can say see will try females, older and experieced drivers but they just don't cut it. You know the EEOC thing.

 

Exactly!!! I'm sure they have some kind of scam going on there... If I had 1 million miles, I wouldn't work for JBS!

 

This needs to be stopped some drivers quit jobs to sit on a bus to only be sent back home on that bus jobless, this is costly to the drivers and their familys. I was talking to a man that had over 35 years exper. that was sent away after being on a bus for 3 days. All these drivers need to get togeather to compair notes and do something about it file with the EEOC or get a attorney and file a class action suit.
