That's the idea, to make you happy so you can past the word on to other potential idiots. On any lease-purchase you will only end up $200.000 - in the hole at the end of the lease. A lease purchase is only designed for the company to make money; NOT THE DRIVER. If all it took was to lease a truck then pay a $1 at the end with the $80.000 dollar balloon payment, See they never mention that do they? You see instead of zingging you at the begginning they zing you at the end of the lease, but by that time most people have ran away so fast; now those other idiots can get the truck they wanted.......while the ones who had them are now working at JB Hunt. Always bare in mine; if it were that easy there would be no need for Companies, everyone would lease their truck then buy it outright for $1.
Including me.
And what is your source of proof that there is an $80,000.00 balloon at the end of the JCT lease. Heck the older trucks you lease start at $77,000.00 so that means after five years there has been an increase in the value of the truck of $3,000.00. Think you are shooting off without any basis of facts for your three or so posts on JCT.

You don't answer a question with another question! It makes you look like you lack credibility.

Well, while you wait, why not do us all a favor and wait silently because you have proven you don't know what you are talking about, just another smok-blowing hatemonger.

Who's us Tweety?
You're the only one whining, You can't help anyone because you know nothing about the trucking industry.

Or else you would have proven to everyone why I'm wrong and you're right.
But I know no-one likes to make a fool of themselves.

I tried but since you don't know how to read an entire post you totally ignored what I and others have said. But that is probably because you are so much smarter than all us.

Common sense should tell you there's a balloon payment at the end of the lease unless you paid it all up front in the form of a down payment........After all it is a Lease----Purchase, but you can't purchase it if you still owe money on it can you? Why do you think the Lessor always ends up getting the truck back and not the Lessee?
Why do you think those older trucks you just mentioned are still with the Company to put other drivers in them?
Why didn't the drivers who leased them purchase them for $1.00? It's not rocket science once you take your head out of your 'fertilizer'.......
