Anybody else have problems with these breaking? Any solutions except to keep buying them from kw?

Mine break regularly also but last time I was at kenworth the parts guy gave me a new style of bracket, it looks quite a bit more heavy duty than the original one. Maybe worth a try if you have to replace anyway.

The last one I got has 2 u-bolts going around the exhaust pipe instead of the band, also has a roughly 6" X 6" steel plate the u-bolts attach to instead of the inch wide steel that kept breaking. It looks a lot tougher. I can't get the picture of it to upload .

mine were definitely not u bolts......maybe they have updated again. these have been on almost a year now with no problems. Gonna try and do exhaust upgrade later this year.

Thinking maybe the exhaust is binding a little bit. I got one of each on mine old style and new style hit a low tree branch and they gave me new style clamp with plastic bushing and longer rod with c clips. Haven't broke either one since. But can tell you w9 exhaust with long elbows a pain to adjust properly. Would also check to make sure you are not getting to much travel on air ride on cab and look at cab shocks while at it. And check cab centering link bushing that will give you some banging noises sometimes too.
