140,000$. But it largely depend on what you put in. I paid 67.6% of the list price. It is more expensive than the Freightliner by a few thousands. I was seriously considering every option. The DD15 is a little bit better, but the Cascadia,......well, you get what you pay for.

    RogerThat72 and Vio Thank this.

That would put the list $ in the area of $185,000.00 , what did you order and your discount ( 32.4% ) is better than small fleets get from KW.

The list price is 207,300$. My strategy was not even bother with the closest dealership. I picked up one in 200, one in 400, one in 600 miles. I made sure I have found dealers who want my business. Guess what the closest one got out of the bidding almost 10,000$ earlier!
My truck has Cummins 450hp, 1550/1750 torque, Eaton 13 speed tranny, Dana 13,200 front with AG 130. Air ride front, AG 400L with Meritor 14X rear end. Super single Michelin tires, aluminum polished wheels. Two color paint. Inside: VIT diamond interior, double bunk, full guages, Navplus driver information and enterntainment center, leather smart steering wheel, top of the line GT703 leather seats, Espar heater.

207,300$:biggrin_2558: I have bought a lot of trucks including Decked out W900L's and PETE 379s and never had a list that high. Anyhow good luck with it.

This is it. I priced a Pete 387 in 2006, that was 180,000$ then. Now the similarly equipped T680 was 195,000. That was not a bad spec, but by the time when all the needs and wants went in, balooned up. And did not even go extreme. Everything was chosen from their list.

    Hi Oram,

I am currently negotiating prices between the Cascadia and a T680. Hopefully you can answer a few questions about your price.

Was the $140,000 before the Freight $2125 and Cummins $9250 surcharge?

Did you purchase extended warranties? and if so which ones at what price?

My T680 list price before the freight and surcharge is $213,000 and selling price is $138000 which is 64.7% of list (all in $155,772.00)

My Cascadia list price is $226,000 and selling price is $141,000 including freight which is 62.4% of list (all in $140,726.00)

    Thanks Mike

My price was the out of door price, includes everything, except the provincial sales tax. Also does not includes the extended warranty. I will purchase that later, because in the first year I can do that without extra fee, (in the second year 400$ extra) and since I have to take some loan to buy the truck, I do not pay interest on the 5,400$ for a year. It is not a big saving, but easy to do. I will buy the 5 yr/ 500k engine and after treatment warranty. Make sure, your price includes it, because my original specification included, but the price not.
Obviously I made my choice, for your money you have to make yours. The DD15 is a slightly better engine, but you have to deal with the Freightliner dealership, what is a pain. The last time when I tried to use them a few years back in Colombus OH, they were booked for two weeks! A couple month ago a friend in Toronto waited three days to put his truck on the computer to check his electrical problem. (To figure out it was not engine related.) The truck itself has lot of problems too. I was seriously considering the Cascadia Evolution, but after my research I backed off. Leaky windows, electric glitches, cheap parts everywhere. It is built to last 5-6 years as a fleet truck. I know, they are claiming fantastic fuel economy, I saw their comparison videos , but in the real life that is not entirely true. The most non partisan opinion about the two engines come from a Scheneider manager. He said: The fuel economy difference is very minimal, insignificant, the DD15 is a little bit cheaper to main, but the Cummins lasts a little bit longer.
