Who can tell me how to turn off the daytime running lights
They come on when you release the brakes
Tried pulling the fuse for them but that also kills my in-dash computer

There is a pressure switch in your dash... as soon as you push it in the lights come on... It is probably on the brake valve (yellow and red buttons)
-
Right... but im wanting to disable the daytime running light completely
-
Think he it saying dive in the dash and unplug the switch . Bye bye day time running lights.
-
Thanks will check that out...
-
But will doing that also mess with the way that the high idle will no longer automatically kick down when i release the brakes?
-
I'd check with a KW dealer, may be a way to reprogram that function. Why do you want to disable the DRLs?
-
Pulling into feedyards at night... cant have them
-
I got a hammer !

Just unplug the daytime running light module, its in behind the switch panel most the time (sometimes requires a bit of looking around) its a little black box about 1.5" x 3"
kwlane Thanks this.
