    I think the jones hood with the old style lights will look good. Don't know about hood cost, but I had 3 kenworth dump trucks and learn I could buy a cool grille from the chrome shop cheaper than oem. Never had any luck finding a new one.

    They were an aftermarket sleeper, the craftsmanship on them was amazing.

    They are pretty hard to find however. I am going to see what I can do though, I have also though about reskinning a Kenworth flat top sleeper with the square doors to look like a mercury.

    We will have to see, if I was to do the re-skin job stretching it a bit wouldn't be out of the question either, I would like to have just a wee bit more space.

    I would love to find a little mercury for mine as well. The jones hoods do look slick! Been wondering where I can find buckets and assemblies to convert my factory headlights to A model style round lights.
    Is there any way to use flat stock to reinforce your hood in the mean time so it doesn't crack up or give you trouble Til you can replace it?

    It will be fine for the time being, I am just not going to worry about it unless it gets worse. Although I am going to rattle can the fenders red. My first priority is going to be getting a new sleeper on her.
